Introducing a brand to the world
Blubeez is a Florida based AI-travel planning platform where users can discover and create travel itineraries based on travel preferences, budget and various personalization pillars over a chat. With a great idea and a functional product that's ready to have users test it first-hand, they trusted Rator Studios to strategize brand communication for Blubeez. We started from giving it a character through a brand messaging exercise, inculcating some visual harmony and designing the brand's mascot.




Getting the Mood Right
When you are entering the market for the first time, you only need to worry about how you want to present yourself to the early adopters. For Blubeez, it was too early to have a rigid visual identity or fixating on a brand persona. So, we took the direction of creating a mood board to have the stakeholders and the potential target audience in the same page. From there, it was easy for us to get the ball rolling.


Creating Blu, the Mascot
The Blubeez chatbot is called 'Blu' - a friendly travel assistant that comes buzzing around when in need. The mascot had to emulate a smart, friendly bee that playfully triggers the user's excitement to travel. The idea of trying to make a bee out of a chat bubble came from the founder, which we found really interesting. We later developed, a clean, not so techie, yet balanced bee with a chat bubble body. The gradient blue and the lit up eyes were choices made to entice the user.

From print to social post, the first steps of the brand into the world was made gracefully and with attention to detail that matters the most.
